Douglas was CEO of AWD Plc. AWD Holding AG is quoted on the German stock exchange and is one of the largest independent adviser businesses in Europe.
Douglas started his career with the Halifax Building Society and moved to Royal Insurance before joining Minet Employee Benefit Services. He joined Thomson's in 1989 to open the Leeds office, providing specialised consultancy services to clients throughout the country.
