Career/Employment History
Helena joined Newton in 1994 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Newton Investment Management, Mellon’s UK-based global equity and fixed income specialist, in July 2001. In addition to these roles she retains a keen interest in Newton’s investment strategy and is a member of its investment committee. Prior to her appointment as CEO Helena was Head of Fixed Income, managing a number of specialist global and single currency bond funds.

Helena is Co-Chair of Mellon International and on the board of the UK’s Investment Management Association. A Cambridge graduate, she began her career as a global bond analyst with Schroders in New York.
